Steve had been a trial lawyer for 49 years. He had spent almost 50 years immersed in automobile and trucking accidents, personal injury, wrongful death, insurance disputes, and other areas of the law, while protecting the rights of his clients.

Born in Cullman, Alabama on September 15th 1943, Steve was a lifelong resident of Cullman, Alabama. Steve was a third-generation attorney with deep roots in the community. His grandfather, A.A. Griffith, practiced in Cullman from 1901 – 1946, including time as a Circuit Judge. His father, K. J. Griffith, began a long legal career in 1932 which included Probate Judge, Circuit Judge and legal advisor to Alabama’s legendary Governor, “Big Jim” Folsom.

Steve’s practice included automobile and trucking accidents, personal injury, wrongful death, insurance disputes and a general practice of law.

Steve received his law degree from the University of Alabama in 1968 and was admitted to the Alabama Bar Association that same year. He received a B.S. degree from Mississippi State University.
