We are all lucky to live in such an idyllic part of the country, including our less congested roads and highways. Though, just because our roads and highways tend to have less traffic does not mean that they are any less dangerous. This was highlighted recently by a local man being killed in a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident.
The car accident
According to the most recent reports from the Alabama State Troopers, the motor vehicle accident occurred last month, when a Cullman resident struct another vehicle, which caused the man to be ejected from his vehicle. Unfortunately, first responders were not able to save the man’s life, and he died at the scene of the car accident.
The accident happened about three miles north of Cullman on I-65 near Alabama 157. AST have still not released any new details on what caused the accident or why the local impacted the other vehicle.
After car accidents
For Cullman, Alabama, residents, this motor vehicle accident strikes too close to home as we lost a local man. But, it does serve to remind us of how dangerous driving can be, and for those injured as a result of car accidents, it also reminds us that there are options after a car accident.
Through a personal injury lawsuit, those injured by the negligence of another can sue the driver to get the compensation they deserve. This includes the damages to one’s vehicle, any medical expenses incurred, including physical therapy, and pain and suffering. Though, the first step in getting justice is contacting an attorney.
